Ken Yagi has been practicing in the veterinary field since 2000 obtaining his RVT in 2008 and obtained his Veterinary Technician Specialist certifications in Emergency and Critical Care in 2011 and Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2013. He has obtained his master’s degree in Veterinary Science through the University of Missouri in 2017. As an active educator and VTS he has contributed to the development of training methods and application of the RECOVER guideline in practice. He has been serving as the program director for the RECOVER Initiative since 2017, developing the certification process and international instructor network to establish an evidence-based standard for veterinary CPR world-wide. Ken is currently employed at the Tetlow and Roy Park Veterinary Innovation Lab at Cornell as the Veterinary Education Simulation Laboratory Manager.
